Antigonish Farmers' Mutual representatives Elliot Anderson, left, Kendra Anderson and Hope Bryden present a donation to Bill Innis from the Guysborough Memorial Hospital Foundation for the new Antia Foley wing. The foundation held the official opening of the wing on June 25th at 11 am.
Continuing support for cancer patients
AMHERST – The Cumberland Cancer Assistance fund of the Cumberland Health Care Foundation received another very generous donation from the Antigonish Farmers’ Mutual Insurance Company.
In 2013, AFM general manager Bill Chisholm and his colleagues pledged to donate $20,000 over five years to support this important Cancer program in Cumberland.
Farmers’ Mutual earns Ian Spencer Award
A bustling St. Ninian Place played host to the annual Antigonish Chamber of Commerce Business Gala Oct. 22 which included the presenting of the Antigonish Business Awards.
Receiving the Young Entrepreneur Award, sponsored by Mac Mac and Mac Law Offices, was Tera Keizer from Gold Dust Tanning Hair and Esthetics.
